Adam Moore
Corporate Chef
Adam Moore, Corporate Chef, was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. Growing up, Adam worked in many different restaurants and quickly developed a passion for food and hospitality. Years later, noticing that his hometown had one of the best colleges in the world, he decided to attend the Hospitality program at Purdue University. While attending Purdue, Adam became the Chef and Co-Owner of a Cajun and Creole themed restaurant. There he learned the financial, logistical and operational side of running his own restaurant.
Adam moved to Chicago in 2007 and became the General Manager of Dunlay’s on Clark and D.O.C. Wine Bar. There, Adam was able to hone his managerial and financial skills, working with a staff of over 30 people and yearly revenue over $2.5M. Even with the economic fallout of 2008/2009, Adam was able to maintain a positive revenue growth for the restaurant within this period, while most of the industry was facing negative growth. During this time, Adam met a lot of great people within the industry and fell in love with the Chicago food scene. After working in the restaurant for over 3 years, Adam decided to move into the research and development sector of the foodservice industry.
Since joining Charlie Baggs Inc., Adam has worked with many foodservice suppliers providing culinary services including national account presentations, recipe development and food photography. Adam guides clients to touch base on the many health benefits of utilizing their products. At the 2010 Research Chefs Association Annual Conference in Phoenix, Adam’s creative use of a client’s product won an award for Most Innovative Food Product of the show.
Adam works with several Charlie Baggs, Inc. clients to showcase the multiple uses for products featuring their health benefits. His product expertise includes healthy cooking oils, bakery ingredients, low sodium alternatives and cheeses. Adam’s knowledge base extends to many foodservice market sectors and distribution channels such as colleges and institutions, retail and the military.
Using his operations background and his product development knowledge, Adam hopes to inspire a health benefits focused market approach among the clients of Charlie Baggs, Inc.
