Newman draws on every one of his life’s experiences to bring his passion for food to life at CBI. He first began to cook under the tutelage of his Great Aunt Libby and continued his education at the Culinary Arts program at Sullivan University. After his education, his fervor for food led him to many kitchens throughout the Midwest and internationally before he settled in Chicago.

He now has found his niche in the food industry and has become Charlie Baggs’ right hand man. You will find him working diligently at running every client project that comes through the doors of the Chicago headquarters whether it is developing a Gold Standard Recipe, directing and styling a photo shoot or just simply putting together a client dinner. Newman will not only be passionate about the food he is currently cooking, he will also bring his passion to life for you as a CBI client.

3 things we will always find in your fridge:

  • Siracha chili sauce (it’s my ketchup)
  • A piece of cheese, maybe a hunk of Parmesan or tub of ricotta
  • Maple Syrup, the good stuff that can be used for everything from cocktails to Greek yogurt for dessert
