Linda Dorman is currently Principal Consultant/Founder of DSA Global Advisors and an international market development consultant with Barrington Advisory Group. She specializes in global business exploration and innovation, with an emphasis on food and travel trends.
Ms. Dorman graduated from the Culinary Arts program at Le Cordon Bleu and is a Certified Culinary Travel Professional (CCTP) by the World Food Travel Association.
She interned at Charlie Baggs Culinary Innovations, a chef-driven consulting company that provides product development, technical analyses, and marketing support to food manufacturers and foodservice operators.
In September 2016, Dorman joined Spoonik, one of the top-rated restaurants in Barcelona, which offers a unique 8-course tasting menu with wine pairings and an interactive multi-sensory dining experience.
Before her culinary career, she held corporate development roles at Experian plc, an information services company that provide data, analytics and software solutions to businesses and organizations worldwide.
From 2009-2012, she was VP Global Strategy where she led group strategic planning and development, large-scale project execution and reporting.
Driving geographic expansion into 60+ countries over a 5-year period, Dorman helped Experian’s Marketing Services division deliver 8% YOY annual growth, the highest of any division. Her success steering the Global Business Council comprised of business unit executives and regional leaders to unify under a cohesive global plan led to the Company’s share price increase of 60% over 24 months.
Ms. Dorman’s work advanced more than 20 digital acquisitions and expanded Experian Marketing Services’ capabilities into mobile, social media and targeted addressable TV, where her team led sourcing and pipeline development, due diligence, deal execution and integration activities.
From 2004-2008, Dorman was Sr. Director, Strategic Planning & Development, collaborating with cross-functional teams and business partners to ensure alignment across 8 business units and 5 geographic regions. She contributed to the market expansion in the Americas, generating triple-digit growth, by serving as a lead strategist during Experian’s $1.2B investment in Brazil and organic expansion into Canada. Working in-country with international teams, Dorman devised a comprehensive APAC investment strategy, completed deals in Australia, China, and Japan and supported EMEA product launches with acquisitions in UK, France, Germany & Spain.
From 1998-2003, she was Director, Channel Marketing & Industry Development managing vertical product strategy, strategic alliances and marketing communications for Financial Services, Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Travel & Entertainment, Healthcare, Automotive, Media & Technology clients.
